I love your blog and can see your appreciation of the natural world such as it exists in nyc. I wonder if you know about Wave Hill in the Bronx. It has woods, green houses and marvelous gardens overlooking the Hudson River. I get there on the #1 train to the last stop and walk uphill to it but there are various ways to get there.

Thanks a lot! Yes natural world exists in NYC. However we should always strive to make more space for it. No I have never been in Wave Hill but I heard the city is planting an apple orchard on Randalls Island ( betw Bronx and Queens). I am seriously considering visiting.

An apple orchard, wow. I'm sure you know that Central Park has a restored Victorian formal garden with fountains, statues, trellises, and gorgeous flower beds. It's on Fifth Ave. at about 103rd St. The entrance has very large wrought iron gates.

Yes, I think I know about it. I am really happy to see New York restoring and making new parks and green areas.

People deserve very good life and home loans or financial loan would make it much better. Just because freedom depends on money state.

I think the green movement is bllnriait. It was actually an idea brought about by a design student in 2008. He decided it would be a terrific way to unite the country as it is a very accessible color. A new trend is painting your hand green and then going around to various walls, and leaving a green handprint to mark your vote, in a sense. Very cool idea, good to see it being put to use, even with American supporters on Twitter. Great article too!
